Summary:
A nursing student who has completed two semesters in an accredited school of nursing. Performs tasks under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Perform direct patient care including bathing, ambulation, vital signs, and assisting with meals, Excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
Other information:
A nursing student who has completed two semesters in an accredited school of nursing and completed two semesters of a medical surgical clinical rotation. CPR certified. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. Complete 6 weeks or 216 hours (June-August). Completed and turned in the required documentation. Good organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and do so consistently. Ability to collaborate with the healthcare team effectively.
This job will be authorized 0.01 hours bi-weekly.
