Pay range:
$103,626.00 - $155,459.00Overlake Clinics is seeking a Nurse Educator to join our team! The Nurse Educator position is responsible for the education and training of Overlake Medical Clinics (OC) nurses, including orientation and onboarding support, competency assessments, professional development, and support of the assessed learning needs of staff in conjunction with management. Participates in policy development and implementation and provides clinical input in overall process improvement efforts where appropriate.
Qualifications:
Education: BSN required, MSN preferred.
Professional Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Washington required. Current CPR certification is also required.
Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse is required. Experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred.
Special Training/Skills:
Knowledge of adult learning principles to support nursing education and training activities preferred. Self-directed, ability to work both independently and collaboratively with hospital community. Ability for public speaking and development/delivery of presentations required Demonstrated effective leadership and interpersonal skills. MS Office Suite, internet and associated computer skills (intermediate skill level required )
