Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the ChiefNursing Officer, the Professional Development Coordinator (PDC)/ EmployeeHealth Nurse will identify, create, and or coordinates opportunities indepartmental education to build competencies related to clinical delivery, programming,communication and patient satisfaction. The PDC will collaborate with allfacility leadership in the development of an Educational Needs Assessment to becompleted on an initial and annual basis. This position will utilize NobisRehabilitation Partners Compliance and Quality data to aid in the developmentof additional training for all staff within the organization. Under theguidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the PDC coordinates and maintainsEmployee Health files and Employee Health testing results beginning upon hireand annually thereafter. While maintaining full confidentiality, thisposition will provide reporting metrics to ensure all required elements of theEmployee Health file are completed upon hire and subsequently annually thereafter.Collaborates with both the Director of Quality and Chief Nursing Officer toensure all required elements of the Employee Health file are completed uponhire and at General Orientation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Unencumbered State License Registered Nurse
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- 2-5 years experience in organizational, clinical and quality education
Desired Experience:
- Prior organizational educator
- Clinical Nurse experience, i.e., Supervisor, Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse
Knowledge, Skills and AbilityRequirements:
Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
Strong organizational, time management andprioritization skills.
Strong skillset re: PowerPoint, audio visual,speaking in public
Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
