The CRNA Lead will work collaboratively with the Salem Hospital Department Chair of Anesthesia and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, and reports directly to the department head to plan, organize, and coordinate the activities of the CRNA Staff. This role serves as the key facilitator and lead in supporting the department's mission in clinical practice, research, education and managing the entire CRNA team across all of Salem Hospital's clinical areas. Primary responsibilities in supporting workforce needs include operational planning, scheduling, clinical practice, recruiting, education, orientation, and career development. Also, as the CRNA Lead, this individual will collaborate with various Salem Hospital departments and offices in overseeing the CRNA teams and act as a clinical point person for issues that affect CRNAs at various levels of the hospital and as it relates to MGB Community
This leadership role allows a CRNA to maintain their clinical expertise while leveraging their leadership skills and abilities to grow and oversee an experienced CRNA team at MGH's Salem Hospital location.
- Clinical practice includes: General Surgery, Ortho, Thoracic, vascular, GI, EP, IR, OB, Peds and Trauma
- In addition to clinical practice, this leadership role will interface with department and hospital leadership.
- Administrative tasks includes: Recruitment, Onboarding, Orientation, Scheduling and day to day operations.
- Opportunities to grow a leadership team to oversee SRNA clinical placements and rotations.
Licenses required:
- Current unrestricted Massachusetts licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Massachusetts RN and APRN license
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration/DEA (as required)
- ACLS/PALS
Education:
- Master's Degree
- Doctoral Degree preferred

Preferred:
- At least 3 years of clinical work experience as a CRNA.
- Experience with a previous leadership role/position.
