Texas Health Schoolis looking for a part time Nurse Aide instructor, who will be responsible for teaching the Nurse Aide curriculum to the evening students enrolled in the program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches assigned Nurse Aide courses
- Keeps a record of attendance
- Is punctual and is reliable in attendance
- Grades assignments, quizzes, and exams, as per the syllabi.
- Attends meetings on a regular basis
- Provides progress update to the students
- Develops academic plans for students who are not meeting the academic or attendance requirements required to be successful in the program.
- Provides lab and tutorial support to the students
- Oversee clinical assignments
Educational Requirement:
- Vocational Nursing Certificate from an accredited institution
- Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from an accredited institution preferred.
- Active LVN license from the Texas Board of Nursing
- RN license preferred
Experience:
- At least six months to one year teaching experience as a Nurse Aide instructor
- Three years’ experience in the clinical field as a registered nurse or LVN
Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 5:45 pm - 10:00 pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
