Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Cold Finish is seeking applicants for the position of Controller. This position will collaborate with the three Cold Finish General Manager's and one additional Controller to service the 10 Divisions that make up the Cold Finish Group. This department-manager-level position reports directly to the General Manager and candidates must have a positive recommendation from their current department manager and general manager. Role will be located in Norfolk, NE.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

- Leadership role in managing the Accounting and related Financial Reporting, Credit, Purchasing, IT, and Human Resources functions.
- Protecting Nucor's assets through risk management, internal controls, and contract negotiations.
- Provide general financial leadership to critically analyze business situations and help formulate business vision and strategies.
- Work collaboratively with peers, departments, and other plants to ensure the success of the company through continuous improvement and excellence in process and people.
- Initiate a teamwork approach to managing while motivating others to recognize and achieve personal and team growth opportunities.
- Work to maximize the safety and profitability results for the division, group, and the company.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with formal supervisory experience in accounting or related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting through education and work experience.
- Microsoft office skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or MBA.
- Previous steelmaking, fabricating, manufacturing and/or Cold Finish experience.
