Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services and/or Supervisor, and the clinical direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform diagnostic procedures at a technical level as outlined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manuals, as well as related patient services and clerical duties.Supports the Mission and Philosophy of the Hospital recognizing the dignity and worth of human life in daily activities. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate or Bachelors degree from an accredited nuclear medicine training program is required.Certification by the NMTCB or ARRT is required. Continuing education credits consistent to remain licensed by the accredited bodies mentioned.License with the State of Indiana for nuclear medicine is required.Maintain CPR certification.
Shift: 40 WEEKLY HOURS-7A/ 8A/OR 9A -START TIMES VARY.EVERY 3RD WEEK CALL ROTATION SUNDAY-SUNDAY.
