Job Description
This position will support New Product design teams, maintain systems, data entry and keeping reports up to date. Candidate must have prior exp in planning and logistics processes; prior Buyer/Planner in a semiconductor environment is a plus.
Role and responsibilities
- Work with demand owner, Product lifecycle management project coordinator (PLM PC), to get clear demand on material requirement.
- Place orders and create purchase requisitions (PRs). Follow up on estimated time of arrival (ETA) of the orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers to place orders for consigned parts. Coordinate shipment with logistic team.
- Work with Sourcing/buyers to get quotation and Review quotations for PR.
- Monitor shortage and demand/supply gap. Report out and escalate on time.
- Coordinate with PLM coordinator on projects demand for Work order WIP issue.
