Job Description
Expert Level Planner
As a New Product Introduction Planner, you will collaborate with R&D Engineering, Purchasing, Design Services, Documentation Control and Operations to support standard and custom solutions from a Supply Chain perspective. You will have overall ownership for ensuring all material are available in support of early prototype builds, through product development, and into production.
There are a variety of responsibilities you may be assigned, including:
Project Management and Planning
Demand Management
Cost Management
Capacity Management
Product Transfers and Launches
Internal Customer Interface
Contract Manufacturing Outsourcing and Launches
Continuous Process Improvement and LEAN
Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience in a role supporting New Product Introduction
Desire to collaborate with cross functional teams world-wide to achieve objectives
Good organizational skills and the desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment
Self-motivated and able to take direction on high-level objectives and create/execute project plans
Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience in Planning or Procurement supporting new products/R&D
Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Extreme attention to detail
Excellent computer skills
Coachability and adaptability
A Growth mindset
Experience in LEAN, Statistical Analysis, Six Sigma and process improvement
Proficiency in Oracle, Microsoft Office Tools - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, Access, Outlook, Project, Microsoft Visual Studios
