ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Sr. Product Development Manager will bring products to life from concept to shelf. Responsible for all phases of the development of new products, this role will also serve as a Project Manager, leading all aspects of the NPD calendar, budgets, and timelines. The position is fully responsible for these projects from end to end. Reporting into the Director of New Product Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and supervise progress through the entire lifecycle of a product from concept to delivery; through close partnership with partners internally and externally.
  • Responsible for establishing timelines for delivering new products across platforms
  • Build and lead detailed project plans
  • Drive issues to resolution through partnerships and creative problem solving; use meticulous logic and methods to solve ambitious problems with effective solutions
  • Perform risk assessment to ensure project remains on time and in budget
  • Responsible for understanding and evaluating the end-to-end process and making recommendations on how it can be improved
  • Responsible for keeping key team members up to date on the progress of projects, risks and delivering on time and in full.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • BA/BS degree is required
  • 5+ years' experience in new product development in Fast Paced Consumer Goods
  • Shown knowledge of project management processes
  • Experience at a startup, packaging engineering, and insights
  • Proven track record to lead multiple projects and partners including cross-functional team and third-party vendors
  • Proven track record of taking ownership, creative problem solving and results
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of sourcing of components and raw materials
  • BA is helpful
  • Proficient in Project Schedule software (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.), MS Excel, Google Drive and Adobe


Salary Range $88,800 - $116,550 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
