SalaryJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our customers receive delicious and visually appealing meals. Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Cook food items in various kitchen equipment such as stovetops, ovens, grills, and fryers - Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in taste and presentation - Monitor food cooking temperatures to ensure food safety - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals - Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes - Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines Skills: - Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering setting - Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices - Familiarity with menu planning and recipe execution - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient meal preparation - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures If you are passionate about creating delicious meals and have the necessary culinary skills, we would love to hear from you.
