NoSQL DB Developer (Senior)

Innovative, growing healthcare company needs Senior NoSQL Database Developer for large scale optimization and business intelligence for both internal "corporate" users and external medical professionals, all delivered through web-based services.

Primary PartnerCare began development of its technology to service a closely affiliated physician group in 2014 and each year has rapidly developed multiple new functional modules. Our proprietary software is being used by the country’s highest scoring ACO for quality in the nation! We are preparing for a commercial launch and are seeking a Senior Database Developer to transition to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cosmos DB with development architecture and performance tuning, as we continue to use the latest technologies to solve healthcare challenges.

What You Will Do if You Join Us:

You will work closely with our small, entrepreneurial development team (a division of the larger operational company) and collaborating through the full software development lifecycle . You will perform database development to modernize and keep our app at maximal efficiency. You will perform administration functions including, complex data modeling, development, testing, tuning and implementation, on-going performance monitoring and maintenance, balancing maximum security with efficiencies. Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelors, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
• Strong background in both relational and non-relational database development including coding and schema design
• 8+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• 5+ years experience in data modeling and design, encompassing transactional and analytical data.
• 5+ years experience working with NoSQL databases
• 3+ years experience, developing and migrating databases to cloud environments like MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or similar NoSQL databases
• 4+ years experience with Azure Data Factory
• 2+ years experience using Azure Synapse, including integration for analytics and data processing
• Understanding of distributed databases and global deployment architecture
• Ability to recommend and implement best practices for coding, schema design, and data migration, especially for transitioning to Cosmos DB
• Proven ability in optimizing and automating DB migration and integration processes for efficiencies

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Healthcare (managed care) working with clinical and transactional claims data
• HIPAA and HITECH security implications expertise

Pay: $108,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year
