Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Provide top-level, outsourced, accounting support to a portfolio of clients
- Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all assigned client work
- Process vendor bills and address AP inquiries
- Create sales invoices and address AR inquiries
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and GL accounts; recommend AJEs as needed
- Track receipts and uses of restricted funds
- Process payrolls for manager review
- Manage annual budgeting process and audits
- Perform monthly closing tasks according to targeted deadlines, including releases of restricted net assets
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Extensive experience with cloud-based systems (QBO, NetSuite, Yardi, Bill.com, etc.), including video conferencing
- Professional presence and demeanor
- Team player
- Organized and focused on deadlines and deliverables
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with preparing for and participating in annual audits
- Experience with assembling statements of functional expenses
- Ability to juggle many tasks for several clients simultaneously
- Ability to proactively anticipate clients' needs and propose solutions to current or future challenges
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
- Must possess analytical skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Able to travel based on client and business needs
