SalaryResponsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and transferring clients who require assistance
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and understanding of common health conditions in seniors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transportation assistance if needed
