Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

Minnesota Rides is looking to hire qualified candidates for two Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver positions.

As an NEMT Driver, you will be transporting clients with non-emergent medical needs to and from healthcare facilities.

Key Information:

Start date for this position: If hired, candidates are expected to have start date after few weeks from the date of offer is made by Minnesota Rides.

Orientation and onboarding: Orientation and mandatory training will be provided upon successful completion of hiring process including satisfactory outcomes of pre-employment background and driving records check, and drug test.

Hourly Rate: will be decided based on experience and skills.

Please note:

- We have a mandatory pre-employment drug testing and background check including driving history.

- We Participate in E-VERIFY to check for work authorization.

Duties:

• Pick up and drop off clients with or without special needs and/or physical disabilities at scheduled locations following strict time schedules.
• Always display courteous and helpful customer service.
• Practice defensive driving skills at all times.
• Follow safety rules as individuals board and exit the vehicle
• Comply with all state traffic laws, rules and regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Complete pre-trip vehicle(s) inspections on a daily basis.
• Comply with the company's policies and procedures including but not limited to privacy, safety, documentation, and timecard.
• Operate a hand-held device to obtain schedule, perform rides and communicate with the dispatcher(s).
• Maintain quality service expectations set forth by the company.
• Age above 21 years (inusruance requirement).

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday (NO WEEKENDS!)
• 1st shift: morning hours (details TBD).
• 2nd shift: afternoon/evening hours (details TBD).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
