Accountabilities
- Serves as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
- Maintain group benefit database and update payroll as necessary.
- Audit the accuracy and performance of functions performed by Total Rewards team, reporting any deficiencies or opportunities for improvement to the Manager, Benefits.
- Perform plan audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments
- Submit annual filings, on time, to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
- Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefit package.
- Develop knowledge articles to assist the Shared Services center operate efficiently.
- Provide ongoing training to Workforce Advisors and Consultants.
- Distribute legally required documents to team members
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree- Human resources, business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 4 years- Progressive professional experience in administering employee benefit programs, preferably in larger organizations.

Duties:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support workforce management initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
