Non Certified Pharmacy Technician

Overview:

This position is accountable to work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department in order to provide quality, safe patient care fin a designated setting. Responsibilities:
Maintains workflow, including inventory and medication distribution.

Operates Pharmacy systems technology and automation.

Prepares, distributes and disposes of medications in compliance with current standards of practice under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.

EDUCATION:REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED:
Pharmacy technician diploma or enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician program
EXPERIENCE:REQUIRED:
Pharmacy technician experience
PREFERRED:
Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED:
Registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
