Non Cdl Truck Driver For Fedex Contractor (Pickup And Delivery)

Position Overview:

As a Delivery Driver for MIH Logistics, an ISP for FedEx, you will be responsible for timely and accurate package pickups and deliveries. Your primary role will involve picking up and delivering packages within designated routes, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to FedEx standards. This position requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package Delivery: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to designated locations within assigned routes, following FedEx delivery guidelines and maintaining delivery schedules.
• Route Navigation: Utilize navigation tools and knowledge of local areas to plan and navigate the most efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and Delivery timeframes.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing friendly and courteous service while addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle packages, ensuring their integrity and secure transportation throughout the delivery process.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary delivery documentation, including manifests, delivery records, and customer signatures, in compliance with FedEx and MIH Logistics procedures.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Time Management: Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain a high level of productivity.
• Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with MIH Logistics supervisors and team members regarding route updates, delays, or other relevant information.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous Experience: Must have 12 months combined of work-related experience within the past 3 years driving or delivering for work.
• Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug test and background check
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages up to a specified weight and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple deliveries and meet deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional interactions with customers and team members.
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality to ensure on-time deliveries and commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities.
