Non Cdl Truck Driver

We are seeking shuttle drivers to work in the New England area. These are steady, local routes for an important parts manufacturer. We operate light vehicles which do not require a CDL.

Driver wanted to drive non CDL 26’ box truck between Derby, Vermont and North Berwick, Maine. The run is at noon every Sunday and you should be back in Derby by 8:oo pm.

Currently, we are seeking drivers who can work Sundays only.

This posting is for a 12 pm-8 pm shift. We are seeking an PT applicant.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Completing all deliveries and pickups in a timely manner, to schedule
• Safely shuttling parts and deliveries to various destinations
• Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation
• Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes regular contact with clients and supervisors
• Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations
• Sweeping truck and removing debris to ensure cleanliness
• Communicating mechanical problems with truck to dispatch
• Complying with company procedures for driving operations

License required: valid class D (Non-CDL) license in good standing

A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - a simple DOT physical).

Birth Certificate required for security screening.

Need birth certificate, DOT medical card and a valid driver’s license.

Professional driving experience is a plus.
