Drivers Needed
No CDL? No problem! We are hiring non-CDL drivers for our open positions! Put your customer service skills to work and enjoy an active, fast-paced job when you deliver and install appliances and more to customers.
- $60,000 yearly
- Drivers on this local job will operate in a 300-mile radius of Des Moines, IA.
- Driver must live within 50 miles of Des Moines, IA.
- Applicant must have at least a Class D2, C, or B License to drive straight truck in state of IA.
- In accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, qualified applicants for this driving position must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
- Monday – Friday, with opportunity for additional work on Saturday during busy season
Start times between 600 am
Average workday is 10-12 hours - Daily home time with weekend time off
- Our open position is comprised of various accounts that focus on delivery and home installation of varied items including but not limited to: furniture, stoves, washers/dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, fitness equipment, patio furniture, etc.
- Drivers need to be able to load, unload appliances and other heavy objects.
- Experience working with dollies, lift gates, pallet jacks and ramps required.
- Candidates should have the ability to work with tools, general assembly/installation experience and ability to read and follow service manual instructions - training is provided.
- All training provided is PAID training and will include but is not limited to product familiarization, assembly & installation, straight-truck training, defensive driving, DOT regulations, customer service skills and various operations procedures for a period of time at the account with a senior delivery specialist.
