Non-Cdl Delivery Driver

TEMCO LOGISTICS is hiring Class C Delivery Drivers to perform an array of functions in Valpartiso,IN The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting packages and other goods from to personal or business address. Their duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parcels to the correct address.

Responsibilities:

· Transporting and delivering goods and/or items to clients or business in a safe, timely manner

· Examining and/or reviewing orders before and after delivery to make sure that orders are complete, charges are right, and clients are satisfied

· Ability to operate a pallet jack and hand tools

· Helping with the loading and unloading of materials from the delivery vehicle

· Continuous lifting, loading, unloading, lowering, and carrying deliveries between 10-100 lbs.

· Use handheld devices for routing information, customer delivery information.

· Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.

· Working in a warehouse setting – scanning, pulling inventory, loading/unloading.

· Building and maintaining a healthy relationship with clients by answering any questions they may have and handling their complaints

· Rescheduling deliveries with customers if they are unable to receive them

Qualifications:

· Previous Box Truck Experience Required (1 year minimum)

· Must have valid Non-CDL Class C License

· Must be able to submit to a standard background check

Salary: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
