Noc Engineer L2

Our client, a leading global IT service provider, is recruiting a NOC Engineer L2 to join their project in Spain/Chile/Peru.

Responsibility:

• Provide Level2 level of Network and Service Assurance support for core to enterprise network on routing, switching protocols.
  

• Supporting Assurance Function of a Large Enterprise Network in a multi-vendor environment.
  

• LAN/WAN Network (Cisco Nexus, ASR, 9K and Silver Peak for SD WAN (Optional)).
  

• Deep knowledge on various IP Routing Protocols and its application
  

• Strong hands on of Routing Switching
  

• Wireless LAN exposure and preferably on Cisco Meraki or similar Wifi6 platform.
  

• SDWAN Network knowledge
  

• Ability to resolve complex network issues on Cisco Core and Enterprise network.
  

• Ability to execute change management activities for enterprise sites
  

• Test and turn up of network deployments
  

• Adhere to all assurance Service SLAs
  

• Working directly with OEMs.
  

• Identify and plan for remediation of network chronic issues; continuous improvement.
  

• Experience of working with Field Engineer in resolving the trouble tickets
  

• Other duties as assigned by team leads and managers
  

• Support 24x7 network operations including that on weekends and national holidays.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree with 6+ years of experience.
  

• At least 5+ years of experience on Routing and Switching
  

• Strong experience on EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, CoS, QoS, VRF, VLANS, and VPNs
  

• Good experience of Large Enterprise Network and in all domains of LAN, Wireless LAN, WAN.  
  

• Good analytical skills to resolve problems. 
  

• Drive Major Incident resolution while on technical discussion bridge with stakeholders.
  

• Good interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts effectively between multiple groups. 
  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. 
  

• Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to maintain focus over long periods of time.

• Certifications:
  

• CCNP or CCNA (Routing & Switching)
  

• Fortinet, Viptela, Velo-Cloud or Silver Peak SD-WAN are preferable.
  

• Candidates with strong exposure to Routing and Switching (Cisco) domains will be preferred.
  

Qualification:

• Bachelors or Masters (Electronics and Telecommunications)
  

• Some knowledge on Network Security, Access Policies, Firewalls.
  

• Previous experience as a Data Network Engineer.
  

• Experience with Large Global Enterprise Network
  

• Silver Peak SD WAN
  

• Certifications:
  

• CCNA/CCNP (Routing & Switching)
  

• Fortinet, Viptela, Velo-Cloud or Silver Peak SD-WAN,Silver Peak SD-WAN certification preferable
