Job Description
13 weeks assignment, 2 years' experience current required in med/surg unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Position will float to other areas as needed. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required.EMR: EPIC experience preferred. SHIFTS: 12 hour Night shift position - Shift start - 1900 - Weekend - 6 shifts in 6 week schedule - Holiday - as needed - Float - As needed Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required and not provided by the facility.
