The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an experienced web developer consultant to assist with day to day site updates in our web environment.
In-Person Interviews Preferred. All work will be performed onsite - No Exceptions. 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Summary:
The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an experienced web developer consultant to assist with day to day site updates to our websites. The consultant will need superior HTML, JavaScript, and CSS experience to provide updates and enhancements to the existing sites. The consultant must have the skillset to provide enhancements and updates to existing sites. This individual must have clear written and verbal communications skills and be able to recognize anomalies in content and code.
Complete Description:
The New Jersey Judiciary has one external website and several internal sites. These websites are focused on the dissemination of information and documents relevant to the legal community, public education and outreach programs, service to litigants, jurors, law enforcement agencies and other court users. They also provides the users the ability to search the website directories and content, which includes graphic and video content. The external website have over 70,000 files and 26 million page views per year. The intranet website has over 10,000 files and serves over 12,000 employees statewide. The project will include: performing daily site updates, creating new site pages, providing feedback on best practices and prior experiences to management, working with content providers, and maintaining and enhancing JavaScript solutions. The project is expected to take approximately 9-12 months. The consultant is expected to: work closely with in-house IT staff to ensure that standards and best practices are being followed, provide knowledge transfer to in-house staff that includes developers and management, advise and train in-house staff that have varying degree of familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS and have all of the required skillsets mentioned.
