Davidson Nissan is looking for someone who has a passion for working in the Automotive Industry! Join the team in an entry level position and we will give you the tools and experience to grow into a Nissan Certified Technician!
This position is full time, Monday - Friday
Pay: $16 - $20 (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Makes sure moving parts are lubricated if needed
- Inspects fluid levels of steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions differentials, rear axel housings and shackles
- Injects grease into units, such as springs, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed air-powered grease gun
- Checks air pressure of tires, adds water to radiator as needed, tests battery, replaces oil and air filters and sprays springs with lubricant.
- Drains oil and refills crankcase with correct amount of new lubricant
- Works alongside skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance repair.
- Maintains an organized neat and safe bay.
- Work alongside experienced mechanics to learn proper process and diagnosis techniques.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- A high level of motivation and energy and strong customer service skills are also required.

Required Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Automotive Industry or some level of instructor led automotive training, preferred
- Must be able to take direction from senior technician
- Must have valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
