Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The QC Laboratory Associate III is responsible for fulfilling the needs of the Quality Control Department's requirements for analytical testing in the biological and chemical areas, examination of product, components and performing equipment and process validations. The QC Laboratory Associate II is responsible for performing independent tasks of greater complexity with some guidance from the higher-level positions, demonstrate moderate problem solving skills. The position is also responsible for the laboratory daily organizational duties.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
  • Supports the Lab in the preparation and update of test methods/specification/procedures and related documents.
  • Assists in chemical testing activity.
  • Updates training activities and related SAP system.
  • Updates daily testing activity including trending.
  • Adherence to good laboratory practices, good documentation practices, good housekeeping and good manufacturing process.
  • Supporting the Lab in achieving objectives/targets outlined by the Head of Department
  • Assigns work and provides direction to subordinate associates.

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
This is a night shift position hours are 6:00pm-2:30am M-F
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
  • Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
  • Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers.
  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Salary range: $45,590-$54,700

  • Associate's or technical degree required
  • 04-06 years related experience required.
  • On-call hours as needed
