Night Watchman

Rogue Valley Door is currently seeking a Firewatch/Clean-up person to add to our team. This position includes but is not limited to janitorial duties in locations as assigned. The Firewatch/Clean-up person will rotate shifts (which include swing, graveyard and day shifts) Monday through Sunday and holidays as scheduled. This is a full time position.

Job duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Check messages upon arrival/keep plant cell phone on person at all times for inbound and outbound calls
• Report daily activities in logbook
• Perform janitorial duties through out the plant using mops, brooms and cleaning chemicals
• Service, clean & supply restrooms. Use cleaning checklist
• Check Kiln dryer adjustments
• Turn off all blowers and equipment throughout the plant
• Empty trash containers and dispose of trash or waste materials through out plant
• Abide by all safety rules and regulations
• General duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Manage time wisely
• Must be able to work independently (and as a team) and take on projects as assigned
• Must be willing to be forklift certified through Rogue Valley Door
• Great attention to detail

Minimum Requirements include:

• Physical activity including but not limited to repetitive use of hands & arms, lifting, carrying, standings, walking, bending, turning, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs
• Perform all assigned job duties prior to the end of each shift
• Lifting up to 25+ lbs. on occasion
