- Starting pay is $24.00 an hour
- Located 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul
- Sun - Fri; Saturdays off +1 additional day off during the week
- Start between 6PM - 9PM to Warehouse Completion; must be able to work 8-10 hours
- Accurately select product from the warehouse shelves lifting boxes weighing up to 50+ pounds, in accordance with specifications on the label and voice pick system.
- Use voice pick system to locate the product location, size, color, quality and quantity to be selected.
- Correctly label all orders with identifying pick labels.
- Transport filled orders to staging area; when necessary wrap and secure loads prior to transport.
- Inspect material to identify errors or defects.
- Load product onto trucks and do so in a manner to avoid damage during transportation and to maintain load stability to ensure driver safety.
- Load trucks according to truck mapping and special instructions.
- Verify case counts for each stop against the load sheet.
- Properly stacking all product using forklift
- Move product to proper storage, staging or trucks in a timely manner
- Safely perform tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform duties in accordance with HACCP and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures.
- Perform proper housekeeping within the department throughout the shift.
- All other duties assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience operating power pallet jack required
- Previous experience operating forklift equipment preferred, but not required
- Previous warehouse experience required (6 months minimum).
- Previous experience utilizing a voice pick system, but not required.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a manual/physically demanding work environment (manufacturing, warehouse, construction, etc.)
- Night shift experience preferred.
- Must be able to read product codes and information quickly and accurately, strong attention to detail.
- Ability to safely perform tasks and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Sense of urgency with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds plus on a regular basis
- Must be able to work in cold temperatures (0 to 40 degrees)
- Work as part of a team
