Powder Handler

Job Summary:

This position consists of mixing all required ingredients for each product in accordance with the recipes on our Night Shift processed slice line.

Job Duties

• Dumping of 50 lb. bags of ingredients into feed hopper or blenders.
• Data recording of lot numbers for all ingredients added to the blender.
• Maintaining immediate work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Responsible for the removal of garbage and used bags from the work area.
• Must be able to pass the forklift training and maintain a license.
• Must keep in communication with grinder operator.
• Assist in other areas when necessary.
• Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead person.

Other requirements:

• Must demonstrate a commitment of both food and employee safety.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical capabilities:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to climb ladders occasionally.
