Night hours during the school year, 3pm-11pm.
Performs intermediate semi skilled work maintaining an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for students, staff and members of the public; performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Cleans, scrubs, strips, waxes, buffs and sweeps floors; vacuums carpets; responds to emergency clean-ups; replaces lights and ballasts; performs minor plumbing repairs.
- Maintains and performs minor equipment repairs; assists with major equipment repairs.
- Maintains security, locks and unlocks doors with keys and computer operated systems; monitors building automation and H-Vac systems; monitors boiler operations and boiler log.
- Restocks cleaning supplies; loads and unloads trucks at receiving dock.
- Sets-up buildings, Performing Arts Center and grounds for activities to including sporting events; assists students, faculty, coaches and members of the public as required.
- Performs ground maintenance, trash, snow and ice removal; applies salt/grit mixture to sidewalks and entries.
- Cleans entire school during summer months.
