General Summary:

The Cleaning Crew is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the Edgeworks facility. The Cleaning Crew reports to the Facilities Manager and works in collaboration with the Gym Operations Manager to ensure that the facilities and equipment provide the highest quality experience for customers and staff. This position requires a person to be self-motivated and attentive to detail.

Core Functions:

• Daily/weekly cleaning + restocking tasks, including:
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Vacuuming carpet
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, including restrooms
  • Restocking restrooms with toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.
  • Patrolling common areas with utility cart
  • Taking out trash
• Completing special projects pertaining to gym cleanliness as needed
• Ongoing and regular communication with the Facilities Manager and Gym Operations Manager about facility needs, concerns, etc.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail is a must
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Must be reliable
• Professional cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
