Night Auditor - Embassy Suites By Hilton Santa Clara Silicon Valley

Shift Pattern: Friday/Saturday overnight from 10p to 630/7am, availability for other overnight shifts as needed

Hourly Rate: $21. 00 per hour, with opportunity for upsell/incentive pay

What will I be doing?

As Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage.
• Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists.
• Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train new team members, as needed.
• Check in and check out guests, as needed.
• Answer guest inquires, arrange wakeup calls, assist late night guests.
• Monitor overnight foot traffic in the lobby and front entrance to the hotel.
• Ensure the security team is performing the nightly walks around the property and checking in regularly with the front desk.
• Dispatch Secuity to rooms or areas of the hotel with noise complaints, as needed.

What are we looking for?

• At least one-year front desk, reservations or finance experience.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Have a can-do attitude and work well with other team members.
• Will need to work weekends and holidays.
