Nguyen's Kitchen is a modern Asian eatery that serves delicious food in a fast-casual environment, morning till late. We are now hiring CASHIERS for our Costa Mesa location! We are in need of candidates with a positive, motivated attitude that would love to grow with the company. This opportunity is perfect for anyone with evening availability, night owls, or college students with busy daytime schedules.
We are open 10am-1am Mon-Wed, and 10am-2am Thur-Sun. We would love for you to join us and be a part of the Nguyen's Kitchen family, hope to see you soon!
Compensation:
- Guaranteed at least $2/hr in tips alone! If tips are ever below $2/hr, we will pay the difference!!
- $17.50/hr+ starting pay ($15.50/hr + GUARANTEED $2/hr tips) with opportunities for a raise every 6 months
Requirements:
- Reliable weekly availability
- Proactive and motivated personality
- Great energy, customer service, and communication skills
- Professionality and a team-player attitude
- Organization and attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving and priority-setting skills
- Availability 6pm - close at least 3 nights/wk
Responsibilities:
- Taking orders, recommending items, and interacting with customers
- Maintaining a clean, stocked station and dining area
- Basic portioning and food prep tasks
