POSITION SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for representing BioUrja Trading in the commodity and financial markets. The NGL trader will initiate and execute trading strategies based on current economic, political and financial conditions to deliver the financial plan of the book. In addition, the trader will also develop and execute trading strategies that ensure secure and competitive NGL supply for our BioUrja Trading business partners. It is the goal of BioUrja Trading to be the most respected energy supplier in the Biofuels industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, manage, and execute strategic purchase and sales plans for assigned commodities.
• Coordinate and manage the buying and selling activities of assigned commodities.
• Determine supply and demand, survey market conditions, and analyze other economic forces in order to establish position in the market.
• Initiate, negotiate and agree on terms of commodity purchase/sale contracts, such as price, quality, quantity, transportation, timing and payment.
• Arrange efficient transportation of commodities.
• Ensure thorough and accurate follow-up, execution, and closure to all contracts.
• Maintain regular customer communication to build and grow customer relationships.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICIATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree-Petroleum Economics, Business, or petroleum science degree.
• MBA-Strongly preferred (Marketing, Finance, Crop Production, Business Strategy).
• 4+ years’ experience interfacing at the C-Level including but not limited to, General Manager, CEO, COO & CFO.
• 4+ years Senior Level business experience in negotiating and managing complex business relationships and marketing agreements with mid to large size corporations.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in petroleum or related industry a strong preference.
• Leadership roles in managing cross-functional relationships a plus. Position would have an opportunity for growth into a role where people management would be a necessity.
• Proven track record of developing Large Corporate relationships with Key Strategic Accounts.
• NGL marketing experience in the Louisiana/Mississippi region strongly preferred.
