The Person:

We are seeking a versatile and reliable individual to join our team as a Next Man Up/Install Helper. This position involves assisting in shop operations while also serving as a crucial backup member for our sign installation team when needed. It is intended to serve as a stepping-stone towards the role as an Install Helper. As vacancies become available, high-performing individuals will have the opportunity to transition to the field and work alongside our experienced installers.

A day in the life of the Next Man Up / Install Helper would be:

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop

· Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and equipment

· Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently

· Collaborate with fabricators and assemblers as needed

· Perform general maintenance tasks as required to support production

· Be available on short notice to serve as a helper on installation trucks when team members are absent or need assistance

· Assist in loading and unloading components onto installation trucks

· Ensure that all necessary signage materials and tools are readily available for installation jobs

· Assist in the setup and dismantling of sign installations at job sites, as needed

· Strictly follow safety protocols and guidelines during installation projects

· Help maintain and repair equipment, tools, and vehicles as required

· Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor

A few qualifications this person must have:

· Previous experience in the sign manufacturing industry or a similar manufacturing environment is preferred

· Ability to handle heavy sign components and perform physically demanding tasks

· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

· Willingness to work flexible hours and be available for backup assistance on sign installation trucks

· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Job Requirements:

· Must not be afraid of heights

· Proficiency in reading a tape measure

· Ability to handle heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and perform physically demanding tasks

· Must be on time and dependable

· Must be organized, motivated and able to handle multiple detailed duties with a high level of accuracy

Compensation DOE: $16 - $20
