Job description:
Soon to be first time parents need a Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight support 7-nights a week once the baby comes home. As the NCS you will be caring for the baby while mom rests at night. Responsibilities will include feeding, diapering, tracking baby’s development & nighttime activity through a mobile app, washing bottles, & ensuring baby is comfortable & safe. Parents request that their NCS be able to stay up throughout the night to ensure the baby’s sleep & health is monitored properly.
The ideal caregiver will be nurturing, demonstrate high levels of patience, and be knowledgeable in all aspects of Newborn Care. The best match for this will be a caregiver that is able to provide supportive guidance for these new parents but also receptive to parental preferences for their newborn’s care. The family resides in an apartment. There are no pets in the home.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 – 4 years of Newborn Care Specialist experience
- CPR & First Aid Certified
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Up to Date on Covid-19 vaccine, flu-shot, and tdap
- Comfortable with a background check
