Dates Needed: 8am July 10 through 5pm July 30

Details/Requirements for Assignment #102275
- Must have active Georgia license and Board Certification in AP/CP Pathology
- Average 30-50 cases per day
- Cases include: Biopsies of the following - GI, GYN, skin, prostate, bladder, laryngeal, breast, lung, appendix, tonsils, gallbladders, hernias, mastectomies, colon resections, hysterectomies, amputations, placentas, peripheral blood smear reviews, occasional thyroid, occasional nephrectomies, occasional orchiectomies and prostatectomies.
- Types of Cytology - Non-GYN cytology
- Histotechs are onsite, but will cover as solo Pathologist (group support from the other Pathologists in the group is available)
- Two transcriptionists will type all reports. There are no cytotechs and no PA's onsite.
- Grossing assistant will gross the small specimens for you. Locum will Gross the large ones.
- No Bone marrows, no EBUS procedures, ROSE for CT guided biopsies, NO frozen sections and NO autopsies.
- There are 1-2 PathSupport employees that are there to support you.
- Call coverage in the evenings includes covering the lab and blood bank. Weekend call is minimal and you can travel around metro Atlanta (current Pathologist has never been called back for a frozen section on the weekend)
-EMR at the hospital is EPIC and PathSys for sign-out and Pathology cases. VIPAR is software to review slides. All Surgical Pathology is scanned offsite.
- Must provide current self-query from the NPDB in order to be considered
