POSITION SUMMARY
Provides direct and indirect patient care in assigned departments. Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care during the patient stay. Performs general nursing duties with minimal supervision and is able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting. Assists and directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care while maintaining professional nursing standards. Responsible for ADVANCING EXCEPTIONAL CARE through the implementation of policies, protocols and practice guidelines; participating in rigorous performance improvement monitoring and staff education.
