BC Stone Homes is a semi-custom homebuilder headquartered in Auburn, Alabama; serving Eastern-Central Georgia and Western-Central Alabama. We primarily build homes on rural land that our customers already own, or plan to buy. We also offer parcels in a few boutique developments that give customers the opportunity to build their dream home. Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a New Construction Specialist (NCS) for our LaGrange, GA Sales and Design Studio. This role will train for approximately 12 weeks with initial pay starting our as salary and then converts over to commission after training. This is a versatile role that will require a dynamic thinker with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate for this role would have design/construction experience as well as customer service/sales experience. This role takes a customer from the initial phase of picking a plan from our vast library all the way to the Contract signing. The NCS will need to be prepared to learn and understand our build process, have a level of comfort with discussing financial options with customers, and finally know how to close the deal.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and goals.
  • Walk customers through the initial phase of the Design Process (picking a plan & understanding their financial options)
  • Understand construction drawings and have the ability to make plan changes that can be executed to our standards in the field
  • Present customers with a Preliminary Estimate and collect the initial deposit
  • Arrange site visits to confirm estimated site costs
  • Work with internal resources to prepare Final Quote
  • Present the Final Quote to the customer
  • Review all Contract documents to include plan and site drawings for accuracy.
  • Review Contract docs with Customer & execute Contract
  • Network and build relationships with local realtors, lenders, land brokers, and any other industry professionals that could provide customers and referrals
  • Manage leads using HubSpot CRM tools (leads could be referrals, walk-ins, call-ins, website leads, Zillow leads, realtor leads, etc.)
  • Follow established workflows for processing of documents and tasks
  • Manage the Sales and Design Center and embody an “ownership” mentality of the space

Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of construction terminology and construction practices
  • Experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Knowledge of house plans and architecture, specifically around how client modifications will affect the structure and if the modification is one that we can execute within our build standards. (additional training provided)
  • Basic technology skills to include Excel
  • Ability to compose clearly communicated emails
  • Excellent Communicator – have the ability to understand customer objections and challenges and effectively communicate through them to find a resolution
  • Independent - requiring minimal direct supervision.
  • Goal-oriented/Self-starter – motivated to meet sales goals
  • Team Player - must be able to work well within a team, understanding everyone has an integral role in the home building process
  • Dynamic Thinker - must learn quickly and be able to adjust to rapidly changing situations and business needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year

  • LaGrange, GA 30241: Relocate before starting work (Required)
