As a Life Insurance New Business Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to facilitate the efficient and accurate processing of life insurance applications from initial submission to policy issuance. Provide internal support to the team of Life Sales Agents, including onboarding.
Candidates must reside in one of the following states: RI, CT, MA, NJ, NY, NH
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Review and follow new life insurance applications to guarantee an efficient process for both the member and agent. Ensure that all required information and documentation are complete and in compliance with underwriting guidelines in order to settle business as quickly as possible.
- Assists in obtaining needed documents such as policy information, additional medical history, attending physician statements, etc. to respond to questions and verify data for New Business and Underwriting. Retrieves data from AS400, Datafied, Elite systems, and others in order to determine policy status, policy provisions and identify incomplete or missing data.
- Review reports and analyzes data related to New Business activities, including application volume, policy types, turnaround times, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and deliver promotional support, training, and sales results materials for meetings.
- Works with AAA Life, Underwriting, Claims, and others to obtain necessary information in order for policies to be acceptable in the systems and allow AAANE and Life Agents to receive proper credit for policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including agents, brokers, underwriters, and senior management; ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Performs a variety of administrative, operational and support functions for the Life Sales Department.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- High School diploma
- 1+years of Life Insurance industry experience, underwriting experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages)
- Strong technical proficiency, able to learn new technology and navigate multiple systems, Microsoft Office savvy
- Effectively communicate with others, inside and outside the company, with the ability to respond to questions providing excellent customer service
- Must reside within the AAA Northeast footprint (RI, MA, CT, NJ, NY, NH)
Salary Range: $48,880 - $58,240
