Job Description
A prestigious nationwide healthcare organization providing services to a chain of nursing homes in Pennsylvania is looking to immediately hire an experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with an active PA license to work collaboratively with their teams of neurology specialists and healthcare professionals across various nursing homes within the State of PA (Travel expenses will be reimbursed), providing comprehensive Neurological care to patients. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing neurological conditions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. These centers offer a compensation package based on a combination of a base salary and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system, with an average total compensation ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 per year, in addition to hefty paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision benefits, CME allowance, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed neurological assessments, including patient history and physical examinations,
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EEGs and MRI scans, to aid in diagnosing neurological conditions,
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders,
- Assist with neurological procedures, such as lumbar punctures and nerve conduction studies,
- Provide patient and family education on neurological conditions, treatment options, and symptom management.
Qualifications:
- Active PA state license,
- MUST HAVE at least 3 years of experience in the Neurology field, and
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Job type:
- Part Time, once or twice monthly per facility.
Pay level:
- $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
