We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist who embraces and supports neurodiversity.
As an integral member of our team, you will provide in-home occupational therapy services to children, teenagers, and adults with diverse neurological profiles, including Autism, ADHD, SPD, and other developmental differences.

Enjoy the flexibility of choosing your own hours (3 hour minimum caseload). Your caseload will be tailored to the location of your choosing.
Work in client's homes addressing goals and occupations that matter to them! Use your OT skills to help clients gain independence in ADLs like dressing, toothbrushing, hygiene and IADLs like making a meal, household tasks, grocery shopping, or paying bills.
Mentorship and Continuing Education Provided
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and interventions that are tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each client.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services, utilizing a holistic and client-centered approach.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and promote overall well-being.
- Implement strategies to promote sensory processing and regulation, self-regulation, motor skills, executive functioning skills, and functional independence.
- Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Stay informed about current research, best practices, and emerging trends in neurodiversity and occupational therapy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current Illinois state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with individuals with neurodivergent conditions and a strong understanding of neurodiversity principles.
- Knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for neurodiverse populations.
- Ability to build strong therapeutic relationships and effectively communicate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Empathy, compassion, and respect for diverse perspectives and experiences.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
