JOB PURPOSE:
The Network and Website Administrator provides management of network and communications systems, including, but not limited to Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems as well as maintenance responsibilities for the TUTS websites and platforms. This is a hands-on role that provides help desk support for staff in conjunction with the General Manager and Off-Site Support Team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the daily functions of company networks and communication platforms, such as Microsoft 365, Outlook, One Drive, etc.).
- Maintain office computers, laptops, tablets, as well as on-site networking and storage equipment.
- Responsible for maintenance of the TUTS website, ensuring all programs and data analytics are compliant with the latest security updates and working with the marketing team to update company and show information.
- Analysis of current business processes, identifying pain points, and recommend changes.
- Responsible for adherence to IT project management tools and processes.
- Continuous Improvement of company email and document security protocols and processes.
- Research, Manage and Coordinate vendors and Request for Proposal processes as they pertain updating or creating new websites or new networking and cloud storage systems.
- Coordination of multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Log all activities and services into the helpdesk tracking system.
- Maintaining system backups and recovery.
- Works with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
- Perform computer troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common computer problems.
- Maintains a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction by delivering predictable, repeatable project results.
- Develops IT budgets and directs the research of IT needs across all departments.
- Actively identify and explore new tools to increase TUTS productivity and efficiency.
- Accurate and current document library.
- Performs related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, WordPress
- Strong understanding of Network Tools, Cisco, & NPM.
- Strong skills and knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
- Knowledgeable in full stack development tools, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.
- Knowledgeable and experience with networking technologies and protocols including wired and wireless networking technologies, MacOS, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RDP, ICA and other networking technologies.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a corporate setting.
- Knowledgeable with non-profit operations is helpful.
- Strong organizational skills, proactive, and accountable with the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Network Administration and Information Technology
