Network Systems Administrator

As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our computer networks, ensuring their smooth operation and optimal performance. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be responsible for the overall connectivity and security of our network infrastructure.

The primary duty of the Systems Administrator is to facilitate effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Network Systems hardware and software and related peripheral equipment. Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain computer networks and systems

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

- Perform regular network maintenance tasks, such as backups and software updates

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement appropriate security measures

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network compatibility and efficiency

- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues

- Create and maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols

- Proficiency in network administration tools and technologies

- Experience with scripting languages for automation purposes

- Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts and implementation

- Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and implement security measures

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies for project management

- Experience with Mac OS, UNIX, and Cisco routers

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.20 - $46.53 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
