DESCRIPTION:
The Network Security Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert in the implementation and support of Network Security infrastructure across private and public cloud environments. The role is responsible for protecting, monitoring and maintaining all aspects of Tutor Perini Corporations enterprise networks. As a member of the Cybersecurity team, you will operate in a dynamic and challenging work environment with state-of-the-art technology supporting geographically dispersed offices and remote users.
As a Network Security Engineer at Tutor Perini Corporation, reporting to the Manager of Cybersecurity, you will have the opportunity to:

• Implement, assess and support Network Security infrastructure
• Manage and maintain perimeter and east-west network access controls
• Configure, manage, and provide support for remote access VPN systems
• Analyze network traffic anomalies and attacks against Tutor Perini Corporations networks
• Manage and maintain network threat intelligence feeds
• Troubleshoot and isolate issues related to Network Security infrastructure
• Review network configurations and assure security baselines and hardening standards are met
• Perform after-hours network hardware maintenance and updates
• Work collectively with the IT Infrastructure team to provide support in testing the security of network access controls
• Take part in the continual improvement and equipment life cycle management across our offices
• Remain adept in the constantly changing landscape of current cyber threats
• Ensure the highest level of system and data security, including user access, remote access, email protection, web security, and data center physical security

• High School Diploma or GED and 6 years' experience, College degree preferred
• Extensive background in internetworking, LAN/WAN technologies
• Strong experience with network segmentation practices
• Experience with troubleshooting skills related to networking, routing, IP, NAT, IPSEC VPNs and knowledge of how these interact with applications and users
• Experience with installation, configuration and operation of Next-Gen firewall appliances
• Strong knowledge of IDPS systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of zero-trust network architectures
• Proven ability to understand and decode network traces and capture files
• Knowledge of PKI systems
• Strong understanding of NAC and the 802.1X IEEE standard
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure networking concepts
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS and MITRE
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
