Network Security Architect

Description:

Our partner and leader in shipping and safety is looking to add a highly experienced Infrastructure Security Architect to their team in Spring, TX. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire, on a hybrid schedule with flexible Monday-Friday hours. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Network Security, infrastructure security, and cloud Security Architecture. They should be knowledgeable about Network Security tools, such as IPS, firewalls, load balancers, and have experience with cloud platforms like Azure. Additionally, experience with identity and access management (IAM) and data analytics would be a plus. The candidate should be able to develop security standards, best practices, and guidelines, as well as collaborate with development teams and provide consultative support. The role requires someone who can handle ambiguity, work in a global environment, and be a strong communicator and collaborator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and the ability to work with both on-premise and cloud-based systems.

- Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) and experience with Azure Active Directory.

- Knowledge of data analytics, AI, and machine learning in relation to infrastructure security.

- Familiarity with Oracle middleware, including WebLogic and Apache.
