Network Operations Center Engineer It Internship

ACDS is helping our company partner, Edafio Technology Partners add a Network Operations Center Intern to their team in Russellville, Arkansas!
Our ACDS Internship Program is a three-month program that places selected candidates with employers across Arkansas in IT support positions to gain experience under the guidance of a professional mentor/IT support team. Internships are designed as an on-ramp to kick off an IT support career and can roll into full-time positions based on employer demand.

About our Company Partner: Edafio Technology Partners is a leading Arkansas IT managed services provider and technology consulting firm serving small, medium, and enterprise-sized clients. Edafio helps build, support and protect their clients' businesses through implementing and optimizing IT consulting and management, cloud computing, and cybersecurity solutions and healthcare consulting across multiple industries from their offices in Central and Northwest Arkansas. Edafio's desired candidate will have a blend of tech and people skills and will work in a team environment at Edafio HQ in Russellville, AR and on site with clients.
Responsibilities:

• Provide timely responses to all incidents, outages, and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams
• Monitor a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but are not limited to routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems, and core applications
• Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (installation of patches, network connectivity testing, script execution, etc.)
• Monitoring, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of computer equipment and downloading of client products
• Work within ConnectWise to resolve tickets in a helpdesk Environment
• Support clients at onsite locations in the Russellville area!

What Skills Does an Ideal Candidate Have?

• Strong willingness to learn and work with a team
• Previous experience using ConnectWise
• Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus!
• Previous experience in an IT environment is a plus!
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+ certifications are a plus!

Our Must Haves:

• Ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
• Ability to pass a Standard Background Check
• Current Arkansas state resident
• High curiosity and interest in learning new technologies and growing or starting your IT career
• Exhibited technical aptitude through projects or previous experience and ability to communicate what you know

Details:

• Pay: $15/hour
• Schedule: 40-hour week: typically 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday
• Length of Internship: 3 months
• Location: Edafio HQ in Russellville, AR

$15 - $15 an hour

If your skills and interest match with our company partner's needs, we'll share your resume with them. After that, our company partner will continue with their interview process. If you are a match, an offer will be made for you to get started in your new internship role! We'll be here to make sure your internship goes smoothly so that you are set up for career growth and success!
There could be a chance for a full-time offer after your internship experience. If not, you'll have GREAT real-life IT work experience and will grow your IT network to help you in your job search.
