Security Clearance: An active DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Certification: IAT Level II Baseline Certification, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP.
Work Hours: Full Time. On-site role.
(12pm-8pm)
Key Duties:
- Ensure continuous network availability, performing essential maintenance.
- Actively identify and resolve potential network issues.
- Oversee data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage and maintain various aspects of computer networks and related environments, including both hardware and software components.
- Implement and uphold network security protocols to safeguard data and hardware.
- Manage regular Network Operations, including startup and shutdown processes, while keeping detailed records.
- Evaluate network enhancement requests, offering technical recommendations.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, with a minimum of four years' experience (experience can substitute for education).
Other Requirements:
- Troubleshooting experience with L3 connections.
- Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting IT systems.
- Proficiency in setting up and configuring Cisco routers and switches.
- Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols like BGP and OSPF.
- Understanding of spanning tree and 802.1x technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot S2S/IPSEC tunnel connections.
- Experience with VLAN setups and network problem-solving.
- Basic capabilities in Firewall and ISE/TACAC configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous work experience with DISA and its mission partners is a plus.
- A TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is highly advantageous.
