Network Installation Engineer

We are looking to bring on several experienced WIFI Network Installation Engineers to join our team.

Our installations team travels throughout the US installing new WIFI systems into hotels, resorts, casinos, student housing, etc. This role requires almost full-time travel with an estimated 85% out of state work and 15% local Central FL work. All travel is paid for by the company, including food per diems.

Key Responsibilities for this role:

• Install and configure wired and wireless network infrastructures for hospitality clients
• Install low voltage cabling for wireless infrastructure
• Perform network troubleshooting and diagnosis of wireless connectivity issues throughout the install process
• Design and implement VLANs, subnets, and routing to support wireless infrastructure
• Configure firewalls and routers to secure wireless networks
• Configure managed switches
• Provide onsite support and training for hotel staff and management
• Create standard network documentation

Qualifications:

• CCNA certification or equivalent level of knowledge is required
• Experience in installing and configuring wireless networks
• Experience in VLAN design and configuration
• Experience in subnetting and routing
• Experience in configuring managed switches
• Experience in low voltage cable running, termination, testing, and management
• Strong communication skills and comfortable with client interaction
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to follow safety procedures

Additionally, experience with any of the following types of equipment would be ideal: Ruckus, HP ProCurve, Aruba, Brocade, Meraki, RG Nets, pfSense, or Cisco.
