CereCore is seeking an Entry Level Network Engineer to join our team in Nashville, TN. This individual will work at one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
In this position you will:
- Assist with the design, implementation, monitoring, and support of hardware and software to support the SVG network. This includes, but is not limited to: monitoring routers, switches, and circuits for failures and recommending corrective action
- Assist with the creation, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures for equipment installation, configuration support, and center network operations which improve service and repeatability
- Assist with maintenance and support of center network security equipment, including but not limited to: network equipment, VPN concentrators, and firewalls
- Participation in the support of center implementation projects
- Provides 24x7 on-call support as warranted, to assist with troubleshooting, coordination, escalation, and resolution of network or security-based incidents, equipment, failures, etc.
- Participates in facility-based IT project planning, as needed
- Communicates and escalates incidents and requests beyond scope of ability to senior/consulting level resources
- Participates in meetings, committees, and continuing education to improve individual, departmental, and organization performance
- Aides and trains users on proper use of center technology
- Adheres to and supports HCA ITG standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care and employee information

Requirements:
- Network hardware support; high level of troubleshooting
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of current and emerging technology
- Solid understanding of networking and TCP/IP principles
- Strong technical skills in configuring, installing and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows (all versions)
- Strong technical experiencing supporting Microsoft Office suite, antivirus software, encryption software, and mobile devices
- Experience using remove desktop management tools
- Strong experiencing using and documenting within an enterprise ticketing solution
- Ability to generate reports and identify data trends
- Knowledge of IMAP, LDAP, ActiveSync, Active Directory, Group Policy, WINS, DHCP, and DNS
- Knowledge and understanding pertinent HIPAA guidelines.
- Strong demonstration of customer orientation
- Demonstrated ability to work in stressful situations.
- Experience providing training/support to new users and lower-level team members.
